Fisher Industries, a leader in the aggregate production and heavy civil construction industries, is looking for a qualified Fueler/Oiler to join their team. This is an evening shift position (2 PM – Midnight) requiring a CDL Class A or B with a Hazmat Endorsement. - Core Duties: Fueling and maintaining equipment, ensuring efficiency and safety on job sites
Primary Responsibilities
- Daily Equipment Fueling: Refuel vehicles and machinery daily to ensure timely project completion
- Light Repairs: Conduct basic repairs and ensure proper equipment operation
- Annual Inspections: Perform inspections, evaluations, and repairs as needed
- Parts Ordering: Manage parts requests for mobile and fixed plant equipment
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections to prevent equipment failure
- Documentation: Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and services per company policy
- Mechanical Repairs: Assist with repair tasks when required
- Service Vehicle Operation: Operate service vehicles safely on job sites
- Manual Reading: Interpret maintenance manuals to troubleshoot issues
- Weather Variance: Work effectively in extreme heat, cold, or rainy conditions
Requirements
- CDL Class A or B: Required
- Hazmat Endorsement: Mandatory
- Experience: Preferred but not mandatory
- Mechanical Knowledge: Preferred
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Drug Test: Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Physical Fitness: Ability to work under extreme weather conditions
