Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer to designated locations.
• Handle chemical unloading using pump-off or air-off methods, following safety protocols.
• Plan efficient delivery routes for timely service.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation.
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers about delivery updates.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of recent chemical tanker experience and 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Required endorsements: Tanker, Hazmat, and TWIC (TWIC can be in process).
• Knowledge of chemical transport, including proper unloading and freight handling procedures.
• Strong navigation and route management skills.
• Attention to safety protocols and detail-oriented driving.
• Ability to work independently and manage on-the-road responsibilities effectively.

Truck Requirements

• Model year 2000 or newer tractor.
• Fifth-wheel height between 50-52 inches.
• Equipped with a pump and compressor (installation assistance available).
• Hose rack installed (chemical hoses, fittings, and air lines provided by Grammer Logistics).

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL driving and chemical hauling experience with 407 tankers.
