Primary Responsibilities

• Oversized Load Transport: Confidently and safely transport large, oversized, and heavy haul loads
• Adverse Conditions: Work and drive under varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, rain, and snow
• Overnight Travel: Frequent overnight trips required
• DOT Compliance: Adhere to all DOT and company safety policies
• Logbook Management: Maintain accurate time cards and logbooks
• Permitting: Handle permits for oversized and overweight loads
• Vehicle Flexibility: Operate assigned vehicles efficiently and safely
• On-Time Deliveries: Ensure accurate and prompt deliveries
• Support Operations: Assist in setting up and tearing down plant equipment as needed
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and service transportation equipment
• Loader Operations: Operate loaders to support gravel hauling and job site needs
• Heavy Equipment Use: Load and unload materials using heavy equipment
• Organizational Structure: Collaborate effectively with project teams and supervisors

Requirements and Qualifications

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old
• CDL License: Class A or B CDL with all endorsements
• Language Skills: Must speak, read, understand, and write in English
• Drug Test: Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Mechanical Skills: Basic mechanical knowledge for maintaining equipment
• Medical Certification: Valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
• Driving Record: Provide past driving record and current MVR
