Fisher Industries is hiring CDL Class A or B Bulk Truck Drivers in Salt Lake City, UT. This safety-sensitive position involves transporting hazardous materials and handling bulk loads while adhering to DOT and company safety policies. Drivers will earn $25 per diem for overnight travel and work on diverse projects within Utah and out-of-state.Why Join Fisher Industries?

- Core Responsibilities: Safely transport, load, and unload bulk materials
Primary Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload hazardous materials following all DOT regulations
- Tanker Operations: Operate bulk tanker trucks as per company policies and federal laws
- Route Compliance: Deliver materials over designated routes while following safety regulations
- Paperwork Management: Complete and submit required documents accurately and on time
- Daily Inspections: Perform routine maintenance checks on oil, fuel, tires, and other essential components
- Safety Checks: Conduct safety inspections of trucks and equipment
- Malfunction Reporting: Report any equipment issues to the Fleet or Driver Manager
- Auxiliary Equipment: Operate auxiliary pumps, spill kits, and fire extinguishers as needed
- Heavy Equipment Assistance: Assist with loading and unloading using heavy machinery
- Adverse Weather Conditions: Work effectively in heat, rain, cold, and other extreme weather conditions
Requirements and Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old
- CDL License: Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
- Medical Certification: Valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
- MSHA Certification: Part 46 and Part 48 preferred or willingness to obtain (company-sponsored)
- Drug Test: Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Background Check: Federal criminal background check required
- Driving Record: Acceptable MVR as per company policy
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate equipment in adverse conditions
